LITTLE DAISIES CHILDCARE MANAGER
POSITION OVERVIEW
GYNG are seeking to fill the position of Little Daisies Childcare
Manager. The right candidate will lead our team of Early Years
Educators and oversee the daily operations of our crèche, which is
part of a Community based integrated service model. The ideal
candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, they
will have strong leadership skills and have a commitment to creating a
safe, nurturing, environment for all children and our staff. Candidate
must have good knowledge of family support and new initiatives, such
as Equal Start that will support children and their families within
our setting and their community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensure the day-to-day operations of the creche are managed
efficiently in order to deliver Early Years services that are of a
high standard.
* Lead our staff team, working collaboratively with a fellow part
time Childcare Manager & CEO, promoting upskilling, training and
professional development.
* Support Room Leaders to implement age-appropriate curriculum and
activities.
* Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the
community. Engage with Networking that will create better
opportunities for our services.
* Manage Parental Fees & Statements, Fee Policies, budgets,
resources and have experience of the HIVE portal.
* Have good knowledge of Child protection and referral systems to
other agencies and supports available in the community that will
benefit child & family.
* Have excellent knowledge of the National Childcare Scheme.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Level 7 or above in Early Childhood Education, Child Development,
or a related field.
* At least 2 years’ experience in a childcare management role.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills.
* Good skills in seeking solutions to problems and showing
accountability. Take ownership of new role.
* Ability to form good relationship with your team, create a
positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children and
staff.
* First Aid. Garda Vetting and a Driving License is required.

TERMS
Annual Leave and salary will be discussed at interview stage. The
position is for 4.5 days ( * hours)
